This is a beautiful yarn to work with.
Each stitch I make shows the subtle change of colours from pinks to mustard, gray and that infusion of ever changing brown to cream.
If the yarn had not been so beautiful, I don't think that I would have the patience to keep crocheting this lace hat.
It can never be sold...the hours I am spending on it can never be priced. I am going to upload a picture of the work in progress...and it is sold out says the Fearless Fiber lady on her shop at Etsy.

Yesterday I was given a book for review. It was the newest one by the yarn harlot. I had read articles about this women of the yarn in Canada, but I finally had her book in my hand and then I discovered he website. I wonder, where have I been? This blogging thing, and I have four and I think that because I am not getting any comments, no one even seems to know they are here, I lose interest. So I hope to change that today.
What am I knitting, I have knitted since the last post about a dozen cupcakes from pattern I bought through Etsy, I love Etsy. I crocheted a headband for Shaunice and a little change purse and I am going to have dinner with her today, and I will ask her to let me take pictures to post.

So, Brooklyn saw me with my turquoise scarf and she said, "I like your scarf." So I made her one. Knitting is really a joy for me. And if making something and giving it to someone makes them this please, well?
Maybe we could all knit a little something for loves sake.

Two hats for Eve and mittens

Eve has red hair, she looks great in orange and the turquoise, I am loving this colour, and this labour of love. I am not too happy with the seaming, the finishing is bulky.
I vow to use double pointed needles forever after from now on.
Having sworn off straight needles on less I am at home, a circular needle used as straight needles is what I call one of those new lessons we learn, for knitting on the bus, has now become effortless.
